Anissa Calvo

Anissa Calvo (b. 2001, Genk, Belgium) is a Belgian visual artist and fashion photographer. She discovered her passion for photography at around the age of ten and began formally studying it at fourteen. Anissa holds a Master’s degree in Visual Arts – Photography from LUCA School of Arts in Brussels, and took part in an additional master's program at the Brera Fine Art Academy in Milan.

Anissa’s work is defined by her attraction to light, shadows and contrast. She captures spontaneous, authentic moments with a natural elegance, often using low-key lighting and strong contrasts to create evocative visual narratives. With a keen interest in international projects, she aims to share her photography with a global audience, blending artistic vision with the energy and detail of fashion and culture.
